Definitions
In this agreement, "South Acton Minicabs," "we," or "us" refers to the service provider. The terms "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers requiring adherence to flight check-in times. South Acton Minicabs shall not be held accountable for any delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or failure to be ready for collection at the designated time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a car of appropriate size to accommodate all passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the transportation of excessive luggage. Please note that irrespective of age, each child counts as a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access must be made at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotations are based on information provided by you. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged additionally if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust quotations in the event of significant changes to the itinerary.
3.2 Our quotation includes a 45-minute waiting period after the specified landing time, along with airport parking fees. Additional waiting time will be subject to standard waiting rates. While we strive to accommodate delays by reviewing flight details, such adjustments are not obligatory.
3.3 Upon accepting our quotation, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation thoroughly for accuracy. Failure to notify South Acton Minicabs of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be liable.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any damage or soiling of the vehicle attributable to a passenger may incur cleaning charges.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the vehicle.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained according to their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are bound by licensing and insurance regulations regarding passenger capacity.
Cancellations
5.1 In the event of a cancellation, please notify us at your earliest convenience. Cancellations made after dispatch may incur charges based on the distance covered by the driver up to the cancellation point.
5.2 Cancellation fees may apply to bookings made through our online system if cancelled before dispatch.
Liability
6.1 While we endeavor to ensure punctual arrival, we shall not be liable for losses arising from delays beyond our control. Under no circumstances shall South Acton Minicabs be liable for losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of vehicle breakdown during your journey, we will endeavor to arrange an alternative vehicle promptly.
6.4 You agree to indemnify South Acton Minicabs against any expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from omissions or acts by any member of your party.
6.5 No party shall exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised by any passenger. No refunds shall be provided for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 South Acton Minicabs may subcontract its obligations under this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with changes being effective upon publication on this page. It is your responsibility to regularly review these terms. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between South Acton Minicabs and yourself.
8.5 No provisions within these terms and conditions are intended to confer benefits upon third parties. Third parties may not enforce rights under this agreement without written consent.
Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be raised within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made after this timeframe may not be entertained by South Acton Minicabs.
